Meadow Mill Athletic Club (MMAC) is a 40,000 square foot, full fitness gym, and the largest commercial squash facility in the United States housing fourteen single (International) and two (American) doubles squash courts.
We offer a full-group fitness schedule for adults, classes for senior citizens and
numerous programs for our toddler and junior members.

Our squash programs provide members with individual instruction and coaching, major tournaments throughout the year, (including international, national, state, and in-house leagues and tournaments), and numerous squash clinics geared for players in a range of levels including beginners to elite players.
FREE adult squash clinics every Monday at 6:30 PM on Courts 6-8. November - February the clinic will be held at 7:15 PM. No sign up is required, and all equipment is provided.
Meadow Mill Athletic Club is committed to working with our younger members to help develop their full potential. We offer a special school squash membership: Join at any time and receive three months of membership for only $99. We also offer youth-oriented instruction with any of our squash professionals. Give us a call at 410-235-7000 or simply fill in the court sheets at the front desk with your last name, and the first initial of both players If you need a partner, draw a circle in the open space. Write your assigned rank next to your name. We’ll get you a partner. You may add your name to a circle so long as it isn’t with a higher-ranked player.

Peter grew up in Australia where he played tennis and squash in junior programs. Tennis was his sport of choice at Middle Tennessee State University. From 1984 to 2002 Peter was employed at The Heights Casino in New York which is the home of the largest junior squash program in the United States. Peter is a WPSA Level II Certified Squash Coach (1986), a certified stringer for the U.S. Racquet Stringers Association, a member of the USPTA (professional tennis association) and a former member of the USPTA National Executive Committee.

Zach has been coaching at Meadow Mill since 2010. He is a US Squash Certified Level 1 Coach.He played Varsity squash at Gilman and then Tufts where he competed as high as the #2 position and was a co-captain as a senior. Zach is also thesquash director at SquashWise. He has experience coaching players of all ages and skill levels.
Reagan played Squash and Tennis at TCU where he was a four year Top Club Tennis player and Junior and Senior Varsity Squash, AA open level and served as senior year captain, in the Mountain West division and was regionally undefeated. In 2008-2009 he was a TCU Squash Ambassador and played mostly at the No. 2 and No. 1 positions successfully playing top players from Argentina, Brazil, Columbia, Egypt, Japan, India, U.K and France. In 2011 Reagan went To Mount Maunganui, New Zealand to play where his family lives. Before joining Meadow Mill Athletic Club in 2014 Reagan was Head Squash Professional at the Maryland Athletic Club (MAC) from 2012-2014. He specializes in sports training and conditioning and has been referenced in HealthyLiving by Rouge Parrish on topics like, “How to Switch from Your Dominant Hand in Squash.” Splitting his time between the US and New Zealand, he has taught A levels, Juniors, and beginning levels at the Bayard H. Friedman Center where he worked with David Galloway in Fort Worth, Texas in 2010-11 before coming to Baltimore to begin his graduate studies.
Lucky is a native of Nigeria, and has been teaching the game of squash for over fifteen years. He is a member of the Nigerian Squash Federation, U.S. Squash, and has been a member of the Professional Squash Association (PSA).Lucky attained a world ranking of 134, Top 10 ranking in Mexico and top 5 in Nigeria. Lucky began coaching in Nigeria as head professional at the Ivory Health Club. From there he became the Mexican national coach for the female and Junior teams preparing them for international championships. He also helped various states in Mexico organize coaching clinics, run tournaments and prepared the Guatemalan National team for the 2000 Pan American Games. Lucky moved to the United States in 2001 to work at the Tennis & Racquet Club in Boston, MA as Head Squash Pro where he worked with juniors. In 2005 Lucky moved to Baltimore where he is currently working with juniors,and is certified as a Level I and II U.S. Coach. He currently coaches the Friends Boy's Varsity team and John's Hopkins Men's team.

Our cardio area features 3,000 square feet of machines; treadmills, recumbent bikes, stairmaster, elipticals, rowing, and circuit weight training by Cybex.
With our high number of machines there is never a wait for equipment!
Our free weight area features 2,500 square feet of equipment by German Made and York Barbell.

Our studio is equipped with state of the art reformers, towers, barrell, chair, spine supports and the Trapeze Table . Classes are by appointment only.

Alix's goal is to get her clients and their bodies working with them and for them. She spent 6 years at CLAY HealthClub & Spa in New York City before moving to Baltimore almost 2 years ago. Alix has trained a clientele ranging from teens

I spent 7 years in the stressful environment of telecommunications developing a training program for my own use. I soon realized that my aerobic routine improved my overall energy level while making it easier to handle stress. ANDREA MARX / Pilates
Andrea Marx was introduced to the Pilates method as a young dancer. Years later as a musculoskeletal specialist, she rediscovered the healing potential of Pilates, incorporating the mind-body principles in her medical and acupuncture practices. Over the years she personally experienced and observed in her patients improved alignment, balance, strength, and flexibility through Pilates. She completed the Comprehensive Equipment and Mat Peak Pilates Certification Program, and now has been dedicated to teaching the Pilates method to clients in private sessions as a part of whole body health and wellness.
JOHNNY MAY / MASSAGE
For over ten years, Johnny has worked with cyclists, runners, and athletes of all ages and levels. A graduate of the Philadelphia School of Massage, and a Registered Massage Therapist in Maryland, Johnny employs a variety of techniques to restore functional integrity to the body. His approach is grounded in a mix of sports and
Swedish massage, incorporating targeted stretching techniques, joint mobilizations and sustained soft tissue therapies.
An elite level competitive cyclist and runner, spin instructor, professional bicycle fitter, and former personal trainer, Johnny is particularly knowledgeable when it comes to sports injuries, and will work with clients to formulate a proactive strategy to keep them performing at their best, in a healthy and sustainable way.

Katsumi is a certified Tai Chi for Health instructor for Arthritis and Fall Prevention program. She is also a certified Usui Reiki Master and Reflexologist. In addition, she trained at the Upledger Institute International for CranioSacral Therapy. Katsumi believes in the holistic approach to health (complementary therapies) by focusing the balance of mind and body. Baltimore Squashwise is a long-term support system creating opportunities for aspiring Baltimore youth. By using squash as a motivator, the organization helps students realize their academic, athletic and personal potential.
Meadow Mill Athletic Club is a facility partner and owner Nancy Cushman and Director of Squash-Peter Heffernan are both founding Board members of SquashWise.
Meadow Mill Athletic Club Foundation is a 501 (c)(3) whose mission is to introduce Baltimore City Youth to the game of squash and to promote fitness and nutrition to the participants. The Foundation rents courts and studio space plus provides equipment and instruction to numerous Baltimore City youth groups. Two other non profit's (BMore Fit and Baltimore SquashWise) were outgrowths of the Meadow Mill Athletic Club Foundation

Maryland Animal Sanctuary and Rescue is a small, all-volunteer non-profit 501c(3) organization that is dedicated to help unwanted shelter animals whose time has run out and their destiny is deemed perilous. Our animals are cared for in volunteer foster homes until a forever home is found.
Meadow Mill Athletic Club hosts "Yappy Hour" the first Tuesday of every month from 5:30 pm - 7:30pm - to raise funds and awareness for MAS Rescue. The club provides FREE snacks and donates money from beverage sales.
During the month of December we put up the "Donation Tree" to help defray expenses for the volunteer fosters.
